Class Byte2IntFunctions.Singleton

java.lang.Object
it.unimi.dsi.fastutil.bytes.AbstractByte2IntFunction
it.unimi.dsi.fastutil.bytes.Byte2IntFunctions.Singleton
All Implemented Interfaces:
Byte2IntFunction, Function<Byte,Integer>, Serializable, Cloneable, Function<Byte,Integer>, IntUnaryOperator
Direct Known Subclasses:
Byte2IntMaps.Singleton
Enclosing class:
Byte2IntFunctions

public static class Byte2IntFunctions.Singleton extends AbstractByte2IntFunction implements Serializable, Cloneable
An immutable class representing a type-specific singleton function. Note that the default return value is still settable.

Note that albeit the function is immutable, its default return value may be changed.

This class may be useful to implement your own in case you subclass a type-specific function.

    • containsKey

      public boolean containsKey(byte k)
      Description copied from interface: Byte2IntFunction
      Returns true if this function contains a mapping for the specified key.

      Note that for some kind of functions (e.g., hashes) this method will always return true. In particular, this default implementation always returns true.

      Specified by:
      containsKey in interface Byte2IntFunction
      Parameters:
      k - the key.
      Returns:
      true if this function associates a value to key.

    • get

      public int get(byte k)
      Description copied from interface: Byte2IntFunction
      Returns the value to which the given key is mapped.
      Specified by:
      get in interface Byte2IntFunction
      Parameters:
      k - the key.
      Returns:
      the corresponding value, or the default return value if no value was present for the given key.
      See Also:
    • getOrDefault

      public int getOrDefault(byte k, int defaultValue)
      Description copied from interface: Byte2IntFunction
      Returns the value associated by this function to the specified key, or give the specified value if not present.
      Specified by:
      getOrDefault in interface Byte2IntFunction
      Parameters:
      k - the key.
      defaultValue - the value to return if not present.
      Returns:
      the corresponding value, or defaultValue if no value was present for the given key.

    • size

      public int size()
      Description copied from interface: Function
      Returns the intended number of keys in this function, or -1 if no such number exists.

      Most function implementations will have some knowledge of the intended number of keys in their domain. In some cases, however, this might not be possible. This default implementation, in particular, returns -1.

      Specified by:
      size in interface Function<Byte,Integer>
      Returns:
      the intended number of keys in this function, or -1 if that number is not available.
    • clone

      public Object clone()
